This page records how beautydew labs currently presents product data, informational content, retailer links, and features that are not yet live. It is not a complete set of launch-approved customer, community, marketplace, or purchase terms. Features that need one of those terms remain subject to the owner and counsel review listed below.
Not medical advice
Everything on beautydew labs — including ingredient explanations, formula comparisons, ratings, badges, routine checks, and community contributions — is general information, not diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice. A product label and a person's circumstances can change. For allergies, pregnancy questions, reactions, persistent skin conditions, or other medical concerns, check the product label and ask a qualified clinician.
Heuristics and evidence labels
An asterisk on a compatibility badge identifies a rule of thumb applied to the ingredient label, not a scientific or clinical verdict. Research and editorial claims should carry their source and evidence type on the page. AI-assisted summaries are labeled; they do not replace the cited source or the product's current package label.
Where our data comes from
- Product identity, formula, image, and availability records come from the source shown with the record, such as a brand or retailer page, an authorized feed, or a submission that has passed review. A price or availability statement comes from a retailer observation and can become stale; the retailer's own page controls the transaction.
- Ingredient names, functions, and European regulatory references can use the European Commission's CosIng database. A CosIng function is a regulatory classification, not proof that a finished product produces a particular result.
- Korean ingredient aliases can use the MFDS cosmetic ingredient dictionary through Korea's public-data portal. Individual records keep their own provenance rather than treating one reference as the source of the entire catalog.
- Editorial and research claims link to their supporting source. The source library explains the evidence families used across the site.
Accuracy and corrections
Labels, prices, and source records change, and extraction can be wrong. Check the package you hold, especially before use involving an allergy or sensitivity. Use the correction or report control on the affected page when a formula, source, price, or claim appears wrong.
Retail links, affiliate links, and sponsorships
Retail links leave beautydew labs; the destination retailer controls its price, stock, checkout, shipping, returns, and privacy practices. A link is monetized only when an approved retailer program is active for that exact destination. Monetized links carry a visible disclosure beside the relevant action. Paid placement is labeled “Sponsored” and is kept separate from product scoring and ranking.
Affiliate monetization is not enabled for this deployment. Retailer links, if present, are unmonetized handoffs, and Beautydew does not currently claim an Amazon Associates relationship.
The wording and placement above remain subject to owner and affiliate/advertising counsel review before launch in each market.
Clinic directory is not live
beautydew labs does not currently provide clinic booking, take payment for treatment, or make treatment referrals. A future clinic directory must stay unavailable until its market, credentials, source dates, verification labels, sponsorship rules, and medical-referral posture have been approved and tested. A future “Verified” label would need to state exactly which facts were checked; it could not be presented as an endorsement or outcome guarantee.
Owner and counsel decisions required before launch
The following policy areas are intentionally not invented in this notice. The relevant feature must remain limited or disabled until its rule is approved and the product behavior matches it.
- Account eligibility and minimum age
- Community and user-content ownership, licence, moderation, and removal
- Product, cosmetic, health, and medical-claim boundaries
- Affiliate relationships, sponsored placement, and commercial disclosures
- Governing law, dispute terms, and enforceable notices
- Launch markets, privacy jurisdictions, and cookie-consent requirements
- Purchase, shipping, return, refund, chargeback, and seller-of-record terms
