Can I use retinol with benzoyl peroxide?
Short answerYes
Yes — but use them in separate sessions, one AM and one PM. Real chemical degradation for classic tretinoin — benzoyl peroxide oxidizes >50% of it within ~2h in light — but adapalene, trifarotene, and modern microencapsulated tretinoin (e.g., Twyneo) are stable with benzoyl peroxide, so this is formulation-dependent, not universal.
